We set out on a mission together with LocalTapiola to offer their insurance customers a convenient way to reduce damages and at the same time improve understanding damage prevention in homes. The basic pilot package contained sensors for water leakage, smoke, and burglary (motion sensor). It also has an IP camera and a smart bulb.

With the consent of the customers, Cozify collects and analyses rich data which can be used to reduce damages, create machine learning models and identify upselling opportunities. If movement occurs in the house while the app is in AWAY mode, the burglary guard notifies the owner with a video camera view from the house. The water leakage and smoke alerts notify the house owners with customized instructions via a mobile notification in all modes.
